Traditional farming is at the mercy of the weather. Unpredictable rain, extreme temperatures,
pest pressure — for too long, these have been accepted as part of the business. At Born, we
refused to accept that.
Our latest innovation is a tunnel-growing system that turns unpredictability into precision.
The Innovation
We piloted a protected growing method for French and Green beans using macrotunnels —
structures that create controlled microclimates, shield crops from pests and extreme weather,
and drastically reduce water usage and chemical inputs. The result is vibrant, premium-quality
beans grown with consistency, season after season.
Why It Matters
These tunnels do more than protect crops. They extend growing seasons, boost resilience, and
restore the land — all at the same time. It's not just about higher yields. It's about cultivating
food with purpose.
For chefs, retailers, and distributors, this means access to consistent, sustainable produce. For
the planet, it's a step toward healing ecosystems. And for Born, it's proof that a transparent,
regenerative food system is not just possible — it's already happening.
This Is What Born Was Built For.
When we launched Born Farms, it was rooted in the belief that everything starts at the source.
This tunnel system is a direct expression of that belief — farming that nourishes both people
and the planet, without compromising either.
"Our vision is to redefine the future of food by building a regenerative, predictable, and
transparent agricultural system that nourishes both people and planet." — Christopher Safieh,
Founder of Born
More Than a Method — A Movement.
This isn't just a technique. It's a shift in mindset. Proof that sustainability and innovation work
hand in hand. Born is committed to a system that feeds people without compromising the earth
that feeds us
